Susan Dunn-Hensley

Susan Dunn-Hensley is an English professor at Wheaton College in Illinois. She is the author of Anna of Denmark and Henrietta Maria: Virgins, Witches, and Catholic Queens, published by Palgrave in 2017. She has also written several articles and book chapters about pilgrimage and early modern queenship.

Sharenda Holland Barlar

Sharenda Holland Barlar is a Senior Lecturer of Spanish at Wheaton College in Wheaton, Illinois.  She has taught courses in Spanish conversation and Spanish literature for over 20 years.  Currently her research is focused on the Pilgrimage to the Way of St. James in Spain.  She has published several articles on Santiago de Compostela pilgrimage where she discusses the transformative process of pilgrimage.  She has contributed a chapter on pilgrimage in Pilgrimage as Transformative Process: The Movement from Fractured to Integrated, Brill.  In addition, she contributed a chapter to Routledge’s Handbook of Tourism and Religious Pilgrimage, available 2020.

Cash

Madison Cash is a rising senior at Wheaton College. She studies English Literature and Spanish and has presented her research in both topics at Taylor’s Annual Undergraduate Literary Conference and William and Mary’s Annual Pilgrimage Symposium.  Currently, she serves as an Undergraduate Research Fellow for Wheaton College.
